The New Mexico Native American Resource Directory aims to empower behavioral health providers and advocates by offering a comprehensive listing of resources specifically tailored to support Native American communities. This directory promotes collaboration in care access, leveraging outreach and resource navigation to build stronger, more resilient communities throughout New Mexico.

New Mexico Tribal Behavioral Health Providers Association (NMTBHPA)
NMTBHPA is dedicated to strengthening tribal behavioral health systems through advocacy, collaboration, and innovation. From expanding capacity and securing funding opportunities to shaping policy and crisis response, we work tirelessly to support providers and uplift tribal voices at the state and federal levels.
HONORING NATIVE LIFE
Honoring Native Life was designed to provide culturally appropriate suicide prevention assistance to New Mexico’s Native American individuals, families and Nations, Pueblos and Tribes. It is housed at the University of New Mexico Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Division of Community Behavioral Health.

Health Care Authority
The New Mexico Health Care Authority (HCA) works to address health care concerns that impact all New Mexicans, including Native Americans living on and off tribal lands. HCA’s priorities include increasing access to programs and strengthening our relationships and partnerships with Nations, Pueblos and Tribes in New Mexico.
